Course Work

Throughout college, I had many opportunities to stretch my design skills, receive feedback, and learn from many fantastic teachers.

Below are a few selections from my work produced during my 4 years:

For this assignment, I was tasked with transforming a podcast cover using Adobe Photoshop. I chose the Office Ladies podcast as I felt that the original cover (left) could use some added pizzaz from the show. I created an updated cover (right) with elements from The Office, the show that the podcast is centered around.

This is one of my favorite assignments I have ever completed. The assignment was to research a historical design era and use Adobe InDesign to create an educational brochure designed with visual elements from that era. I chose the Arts and Crafts Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This assignment stretched my creativity to think about ways to mesh two brands’ distinct visual styles. Here, I had to imagine what a partnership between Twinings tea and the Netflix series, Bridgerton, would look like for a specialty tin and tea bag. I created the designs for both products in Adobe InDesign, the tea tin mockup in Illustrator, and tea bag mockup in Photoshop.

These graphics were created as a social media suite to advertise an event. The ‘Punkin Chunkin’ festival is an event I attend each fall so I decided to try to encapsulate the vibe of the festival in social media graphics. The full graphics were created in Adobe Illustrator with some elements made in using Canva Pro.

This suite of social media graphics were created as an extra credit opportunity for a course. I chose to advertise Christmas season events for my church. I had free reign here so I chose to create a full mix of social media content including feed posts, stories, and a reel for Facebook and Instagram.
